The world is a better place for having this album in it. Great guitar and fantastic drums. Fits nicely along side Deafheaven in my collection. Recolour

When it comes to the "atmosphere" in "atmospheric black metal", this release probably succeeds the most in making me feel like i exist within this universe of music. domfabio
Streamlining their post-metal sprawl through a sharper melodic focus, the Scottish juggernauts' third LP is labyrinthine yet approachable. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 25, 2024

Oh man this album from Somn is absolutely amazing, proper post black metal stuff that takes you to euphoria and back again until you feel so elevated. You get such a heavy and beautiful buzz from these four stunning tracks, Somn are the awesome band I've been dreaming of. Darknight
